Our daily activities and busy schedules have come to a halt. Maintaining social distancing and staying at home have become new norms. Whether emotionally, mentally or physically, it is affecting us in one way or another. For some people it may be normal, however for most of us social distancing can be tough because after all humans are social animals.  We all are living with worry and anxiety amidst this global uncertainty because we had never experienced a pandemic like this before and we were unprepared for the sudden changes we had to make to our lifestyles. People are facing additional difficulties due to unemployment and travel bans. Despite all these difficulties, lockdown has brought few positive changes in our life. It has brought us closer to our family members and taught us once again about family values. Though daily human activities have come to a stop, we can see that the nature is experiencing the exact opposite. The sun hasn’t stopped to rise in the morning & set in the evening, birds haven’t forgotten to sing, and flowers haven’t ceased to bloom. The fresh air around us, the shiny Himalayas in the skyline and the clear blue sky above us are telling us that the mother nature is thriving on its own pace. Well, life is full of uncertainty, and we've just got to learn to live with it. I haven’t lost my hope at all. I am optimistic that this will pass soon, and am patiently waiting for a ray of hope that will lighten up the world once again. Stay strong ! This shall pass !
